The name of the post-top luminaire Pilzeo refers directly to the `Pilzleuchte' - litterally `mushroom luminaire' - a very popular type of lantern in German-speaking countries.
This classical form has been refreshed to provide a contemporary design for aesthetic continuity while generating massive energy savings. Based on the proven LensoFlex®2 engine, it provides a high-performance lighting solution to guarantee safety and well-being in public areas.
ENERGY SAVINGS OF UP TO 85%
The Pilzeo luminaire integrates the latest cutting edge technologies. The combination of LEDs, a driver with a constant flux system and dimming makes
it possible to achieve energy savings that can reach up to 85% compared with luminaires equipped with traditional light sources.
With this very favourable energy balance, the Pilzeo luminaire contributes to the effective management of finances and to the responsible use of energy.
BACK LIGHT CONTROL TO PREVENT INTRUSIVE LIGHT
Some versions of the Pilzeo can be equipped with a Back Light Control system.
Thanks to an additional control plate inside the luminaire body, light spill from the back of the luminaire is minimised to avoid intrusive light on buildings.
The Pilzeo is FutureProof. Both the LED unit and the electronic assembly can be replaced, without any tools, to take advantage of future technological developments.
